Bombardier in Randers, Demark, are recruiting for three Software Engineers
Bombardier in Randers is currently recruiting for a number of Electrical engineers to assist in the development and growth of a very exciting contract win. The overall need for the business will include Software engineers as well as the need for Electrical engineers. Together with other engineers - and other functions within BT - the project team will be responsible for this new project. The new project has a timeframe of more than 2 years. In Randers we are part of the Services Division of Bombardier which means, that we service trains, from refurbishment through to functional development, and from Electrical Self Propelled Passenger Units to Diesel Locomotives. For this contract we need three Software engineers to join the team over the next few months, whose main tasks will be to secure power supply and interconnections (communication) between electrical components. The Software Engineer executes the software engineering scope of work which is related to the projects and will also be responsible for leading and integrating the software Sub-project design, for delivering the technical scope of the project, and with special focus on the software integration aspects. Main tasks:

Specification of functions
Development of SW solutions in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and other BT sites
Specification of interfaces towards and between sub-systems (protocols)
Perform tests on functional control
Creating input for user documentation, eg. functional descriptions.


Qualifications:



Qualified Electrical-engineer or a corresponding education with previous experience in a similar role within a similar branche or similar project.
Experience in software development and project work
A strong team player, however also capable of working individually
With a good eye for detail, but with a broad understanding of the full process
Must speak and write English
Experienced user of Microsoft Office
