Department Marketing StatementDNV Research and Innovation is the corporate DNV unit with prime focus on new knowledge and technologies that will have a long-term impact on business growth.We are currently 70 scientists from about 20 different countries, organized in strategic research programmes.IT Risk Management is one of the research focus areas within the IT research programme. Our task is to stay updated on state-of-the-art within hardware and software technologies, identify future trends, and propose innovations that create new business opportunities for DNV.Currently, we are 10 researchers in the IT Research Programme, and we are looking for more, high qualified, team members. The successful candidate seeks to do thorough applied research that matters for DNV and its clients.Major DutiesYou will be a project member / project manager working with:•IT risk management such as safety assurance of integrated software dependent control systems•Intelligent systems with sensor networks and data mining•Propose and develop new projects•Innovate commercial services for DNVQualificationsThe successful candidates possess the following qualifications:•PhD in Computer science, software engineering, embedded software, industrial economics, physics, mathematics, statistical science, or related fields•Industrial knowledge from maritime, oil and gas, or renewable energies•Experience with verification and validation of software dependent systems•Experience with project work and project management desired•Excellent analytical skills•Good communication skills•Proactive, creative, interested to learn•Good command of EnglishConditions of EmploymentLocation: Høvik, NorwayHow To ApplyPlease use the “Apply for this position” link below to apply online.NB!The Job Basket will open in a new browser window.
